I am a 22 year old teaching assitant in an SEN secondary school and creator of Nicole Louise Photography.

 

During my time working at the school I have fallen in love with all of the children I work with and it has truly opened my eyes to the beauty within Down Syndrome. I feel so lucky to work with teenagers and young adults who have Down Syndrome almost everyday and wanted to show the world just how beautiful it really is.

The abortion rate for babies with Down Syndrome is still shockingly high and this is what I so desperately want to change!

I have done a number of photoshoots with babies, children & young adults all of whom have Down Syndrome. I have loved every second of creating Down Right Beautiful. I have also worked along side the amazing makeup artist Hannah Dilloway - Beard who has made some of my Down Right Beautiful models feel extra special before they strut their stuff by doing their makeup.

 

During this project I have met the most lovely and inspiring people. Not only the models involved but their families too.

I hope we can make a difference for not only these but for so many more families who need positivity and support.
